Meeting the Needs of Each Child

Integrating learning and play is the cornerstone of our nurturing-based curriculum. We want all the children who join us at Burn Bridge Pre-school to feel settled and secure, encouraging them to explore their surroundings, create relationships with their peers and carers, as well as preparing them for the next big steps in their educational adventures.

Our Youngest Attendees

We welcome children from 18 months old and ensure that all our learning areas and resources are appropriate for even our youngest children.

Growing with You

As our children develop and their needs change we are committed to providing new and exciting learning opportunities. While they prepare to join big school, our focus remains on growing their confidence in our safe and secure setting.

Learning Settings & Opportunities

We know that it is through play that children learn about the world and themselves.Play improves the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children, so we have developed different zones of learning and discovery across the pre-school to give our children a rich and varied experience in our care.

Playroom & Hall

Our indoor spaces allow children access to activities for smaller and larger groups. Whether we are cutting and sticking or dressing up for role play and make believe, children’s creativity is stimulated and their confidence is nurtured.

Outdoor Areas & Garden

Regular physical play is a great way to set a child up with healthy brain development from an early age as well as allowing children to explore their surroundings and use up all of that energy.

Whether scooting, running or digging being outside in the natural world is one of the greatest parts of the Burn Bridge Pre-School experience.
